On March 8, 2010, the Hidden Valley Community Concert Association listened to an absolutely beautiful concert pianist.
Dan Franklin Smith is a very special and unique pianist not only in his artistry but also in the wonderful commentary on the pieces he performed for us. Everything from Chopin’s waltzes and mazurkas to works by Gershwin, Copland, and Previn—that I never heard before—was amazing.
We have put him on our list of “back by popular demand” artists!
